Peter Donegan is a British singer-songwriter whose music blends country, blues, and Americana, earning him recognition for his distinctive voice and authentic style inspired by the rich traditions of American roots music. He is the son of the legendary Lonnie Donegan, widely known as the "King of Skiffle" and regarded as one of the musicians who influenced the early sound of The Beatles. Although born in the United Kingdom, Peter spent much of his childhood and teenage years in California and Florida, where he developed a deep appreciation for country and Americana music. This unique background has played a defining role in shaping his musical identity. Peter's international career has also taken him to Spain, and he has appeared on several prestigious television talent shows. He competed on The Voice UK, where he impressed both the audience and the judges, even performing alongside the legendary Sir Tom Jones. He later moved to Romania, which he now proudly calls home. Romanian audiences came to know Peter through Vocea României (The Voice Romania), where he made a remarkable first impression during the Blind Auditions by turning all four coaches' chairs with his powerful rendition of "Midnight Train To Memphis." His memorable performances throughout the competition further established him as an authentic artist and a passionate storyteller of contemporary country music.
